The box keeps your home data at home
The Solsidus box plans and controls your battery on your home network. EBB Lite needs no account: readings, decisions and savings history stay on the box, which contacts us only for software updates and its service status. EBB Pro adds cloud history and remote access, stored in the EU.
Visiting the website
To deliver and protect the site, our servers process technical data such as your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser type. This is necessary for our legitimate interest in a working, secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are kept only for as long as needed for security and troubleshooting and are then deleted.
Analytics, only if you allow it
With your consent we use Google Analytics to learn which pages help visitors (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). It stays off until you allow it; advertising features stay disabled. If you allow it, Google sets measurement cookies (_ga and _ga_*) that last up to two years. Your choice is stored in your browser under “solsidus-analytics-consent-v1”. You can change it at any time with “Analytics settings” in the footer.
The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google may process data in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Pre-orders
When you pre-order we process your email address, recipient name, delivery address, optional phone number, language, the edition and the price you reserved, and your place in the launch allocation. We use them to reserve your box, confirm your pre-order, contact you before dispatch and deliver it (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR: steps before and for a contract).
We keep pre-order data until the pre-order is fulfilled or cancelled. After a purchase we keep invoices and order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires (in Bulgaria up to 10 years).
Your account
After a purchase we create your Solsidus account so you can see your box. It holds your email, a password hash or your Google sign-in if you choose it, your boxes and plant settings, and for Pro the cloud history. We keep it while you use it and delete it on request or after the service ends, apart from records the law requires us to keep.
Emails with us
If you write to us, we use your message and address to answer (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and keep the conversation as long as needed for your request and any legal claims.
Who else receives data
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) checks with Turnstile that a pre-order comes from a person and not a script. It processes your IP address and browser signals for this. We need it to protect the launch allocation and our email sending (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); it is security, not analytics, so it does not wait for analytics consent. Data may be processed in the US under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
- Resend, Inc. (USA) sends our transactional emails such as pre-order confirmations, under Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Google, only for analytics you allowed or a Google sign-in you chose.
- The parcel carrier receives the recipient name, delivery address and phone number to deliver your box.
- A payment provider, once payments start, receives what it needs to process your payment.
- Authorities, only where the law requires it.
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing based on legitimate interests, and you can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Email us to use them.
You may complain to a supervisory authority, in Bulgaria the Commission for Personal Data Protection (cpdp.bg), or the authority where you live or work.
We make no automated decisions with legal effect about you.
