Terms of sale

How a pre-order becomes a purchase, what the price includes and what each side promises.

Who you buy from

These terms apply to pre-orders and purchases of the Solsidus box (EBB Lite and EBB Pro) on solsidus.com. You buy from:

We sell to consumers and businesses with a delivery address in Bulgaria or the mainland EU (see the shipping policy).

Pre-orders

  • A pre-order reserves a box at the price shown when you submit it. No payment is taken and no contract of sale exists yet.
  • Before your box ships we email you a confirmation with the final shipping price, the dispatch date and how to pay. The contract of sale is concluded when you accept that confirmation and pay.
  • Until then you can cancel your pre-order at any time, free of charge, by emailing us. We may cancel a pre-order if we cannot supply it, for example because your inverter is not supported or your address is outside our delivery territory, and we tell you why.
  • Launch price: the first 1,000 EBB Lite pre-orders are reserved at the launch price shown on the site; later pre-orders at the regular price. A price reserved by your pre-order is kept for that pre-order.

Prices and payment

Prices are in euro and include VAT. Shipping is charged separately as described in the shipping policy and is confirmed before you pay. We tell you the accepted payment methods in the confirmation email.

Compatibility

Solsidus works with supported Deye single- and three-phase hybrid inverters that have a Wi-Fi logger on your home network. We confirm your model before dispatch. EBB Lite runs one home with one inverter. EBB Pro is for homes with more than one inverter: one box per inverter, working together.

Delivery

We ship from Bulgaria. Delivery times in the shipping policy are estimates. If you are a consumer, the risk of loss or damage passes to you when you or a person you name receives the box.

Your right to change your mind

As a consumer you can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. The right of withdrawal page explains how, and includes a form you may use.

Guarantee

You have the 24-month legal guarantee of conformity. The warranty conditions page explains how to make a claim.

Software and Solsidus Home

  • The software in the box is licensed to you for use with that box. We provide security and compatibility updates at least for as long as the legal guarantee runs.
  • EBB Lite works on your home network without a subscription.
  • EBB Pro includes 24 months of Solsidus Home (live prices, fresh forecasts, remote access and history). Renewal afterwards is optional at the price shown with the Pro offer. Without it, the box keeps working locally.

Using the box

The box changes how your battery charges through the inverter’s own interface and reads the setting back to confirm it. It never opens, rewires or reflashes the inverter, and the inverter’s own safety settings stay as they are. Your electrical installation remains subject to its own rules and terms.

Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under mandatory product liability law. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an obligation essential to the contract, limited to the damage typically foreseeable when the contract was made. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Complaints and disputes

Please contact us first; most things are solved by email. Consumers may also contact the Bulgarian Commission for Consumer Protection (kzp.bg) or the consumer authority in their country.

Governing law

Bulgarian law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
